MONTHLY LUNCH
The North High class of 1950 has a monthly lunch meeting at 11:30 on the last Monday of each month (unless it happens to be a holiday) at River City Brewery. The January lunch will be on January 28. Put this on your calendar

The River City Brewery is in Wichita's Old Town section. We always hope that some of you who haven't been there before will join us.
At the December lunch we had 17 present, even though the weather forecast called for some snow and there was already about 1/2 inch on the ground.

1947 HORACE MANN CLASS

OUR 2012 REUNION
On October 5th and 6th of 2012 we had our 62 year reunion celebration. We were joined by a number of 1951 graduates both days.
There were just over 100 present for the Friday night Mixer and the mixer photographs are at

A number of the class met Saturday morning at North High where the North High cheer-leaders gave us tours of the building. There have been numerous additions to the building in the two years since our last tour.
And they are adding more right now.
Saturday evening we met at the Airport Hilton (now called the Double tree) for our banquet. More than eighty were present for this.

Our classmate, Jerry Cooley, who has been City Attorney at Lawrence, KS for many years, announced recently that he is retiring from the job, saying, "I will soon be 79 years old and think it is time to retire." The Lawrence Journal World published the story and you can read it at Rest of the Cooley story .
